How to Stack Gold Rings
Build a stack that's entirely your own — in solid 14K gold that keeps its shine.
Stacking simply means wearing several rings together, on one finger or across several. It's the easiest way to make a look your own: you mix, swap, and grow it over time. One thing makes a real difference to the result — the material. Gold-plated rings wear precisely where they rub against each other, exposing the base metal underneath. Solid 14K gold doesn't. The building blocks of a good stack
Think in three roles. Combine them and your stack will almost always work.
• The anchor ring. The widest or most striking piece that carries the stack — for example the Atelier Band or the Amethyst Trilogy.
• The accent ring. A ring with a stone or colour that holds the eye — such as Côté à Côté or the Amalfi Sand.
• The fine stacker. A slim band that adds space and rhythm — like the Cordée or the Mini Ruby.
5 principles for a beautiful mix
• Vary width and texture. Set a smooth band next to a twisted “rope” band; the contrast makes the stack interesting.
• Work in odd numbers. Three or five rings look more natural and less symmetrical than an even count.
• Leave space. Not every finger needs to be full. A bare finger in between lets the stack breathe.
• Keep one hero. One anchor ring leads; the rest support it. Two statements compete for attention.
• Balance across the hand. Distribute the volume so it doesn't all gather in one spot.
Which fingers, and how to spread them
Start with your index and middle fingers — that's where a stack reads best. Combine adjacent fingers for a full effect, or place one bold ring on the pinky or thumb for an edgier look. A knuckle (midi) ring above the joint adds height. Deliberately leave one finger bare to keep things calm.

Care — why solid gold stacks better
Stacked rings rub against each other, and that's exactly where the difference shows. On gold-plated rings the top layer wears away at those contact points and the base metal appears. Solid 14K gold is gold all the way through, so that doesn't happen. Clean your rings now and then with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, and store them apart when you're not wearing them. That keeps your stack looking beautiful for years.
